Jay County comeback falls short

Jay County High School’s softball team scored 11 times in the final two innings and had the tying run on base in the seventh Monday, but they fell 16-13 to Huntington North.
Chelsea Tighe smashed three home runs for the Patriots (1-4), who came back against several Viking relief pitchers. She finished 4-for-5, drove in seven runs and scored three times.
Katlin Petro added a homer in the seventh inning as she drove in three runs. Courtney Finnerty added three hits, and Abbey Vance scored three times.
