Adam Gray was the only Patriot player to record a par on Nos. 10, 11 and 12 at TRGC, leaving the Patriots seven strokes behind Bluffton through the first three holes.

However, Adam Horn and Brad Horn each picked up their first pars on No. 13 as Jay County picked up its level of play.

Gray, who finished second only to Bellmont's Luke Ainsworth (35), also had a birdie on No. 17 to go along with five pars in his round to post a 2-over-par 39. And Isaac Poole had each of his two pars in the final four holes for a 49 as the Patriots outscored Bluffton by 14 strokes on holes 13 through 18.
