Cori Vormohr added a win in the 100 breaststroke, and Jay County also had a pair of relay victories.
Urban headed to regional
A former Jay County coach will make his second straight appearance in the regional tournament Friday night.
Brad Urban, who coached the 2001 Patriot football team, reached the regional again this season as his West Central Trojans topped Whiting 45-21 in sectional championship action Friday night. West Central will play at Adams Central (11-1) Friday at 7 p.m.
The Class 1A No. 7 Trojans are 11-1 this season, with the lone loss coming by a single point to Class 1A No. 1 Pioneer.
They finished 11-3 last year, crushing Adams Central 41-14 for the regional title before falling 18-0 to Seeger in the semi-state.[[In-content Ad]]
