Jay County swept three divisions Saturday as it took first place as host of the Wabash Valley Conference Relays.
The team won every 13-14-year-old event and took all five 9-10-year-old girls races en route to 2,150 points. Wells Community, which matched Jay County's 21 wins, was second with 1,958 followed by South Adams (1,842) and North Adams Central (520).
While the 13-14-year-olds from Jay County dominated throughout, it was the team of 9-10-year-olds Katy Smeltzer, Cori Stone, Sophie Bader and Anne Vormohr that teamed for the most wins. The group took the top spot in three events, winning the medley, butterfly and backstroke relays.

They joined Michaela Long for first place in the medley and breaststroke relays, and teamed with Marissa Murrell to win the butterfly and freestyle relays.
