JCHS concert is Sunday
Taking Note
The Jay County High School music department will hold its annual Christmas Concert on Sunday at 2 p.m. in the auditorium. The Jay Patriot Concert Band, Danza Cantate, Music Connections and Patriot Edition will perform a variety of holiday tunes. The annual cookie walk will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and after the concert as well.
Luminaria Walk
Minnetrista in Muncie will have its Enchanted Luminaria Walk on Friday and Saturday from 6 to 9 p.m. The free event will include theatre performances, tasty treats, music, carriage rides, campfires and hundreds of luminaries.
A Glass Workshop to Make a Holiday Fused Glass Plate will be held Dec. 6 from 6 to 9 p.m. and Dec. 13 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Minnetrista. Both sessions need to be attended to complete the project. The cost is $25 and registration deadline is today. To register, call (765) 282-4848.
Fort Library
The Fort Recovery Public Library is having a Holiday Food For Fines through Tuesday. Overdue items may be returned with a canned or boxed good and the fine will be waived. A dollar will be waived from any pre-existing fines for each food item donated.
Also Friends of the Fort Recovery Library are having the eighth annual Fort Festival of Trees beginning Monday through Dec. 29. Any business, organization or family wanting to display a tree should call Mindy Bubp at (419) 375-0124 or email [email protected] or call the library at (419) 375-2869.

Story times at Jay County Public Library will be Monday and Dec. 10 with Miss Linda and Tuesday and Dec. 11 with Miss Mary. The time for all sessions is 11:15 a.m.
The library will close at 5 p.m. on Wednesday.
Mother Goose & Me will visit the library on Thursday, Dec. 6 and 13 at 9:15 a.m.
