JCPL hosting board game night

Bring board games, cards or puzzles to Jay County Public Library on Thursday for board game night.
Children and adults may drop in anytime from 5 to 7  p.m. to play. The library will also have games to choose from.

Movie night
Alfred Hitchcock’s movie “The Birds” will be shown Friday at 6 p.m. at Jay County Public Library in the Community Room.
The movie is for teens and adults and refreshments will be provided.

Crochet club
The newly formed crochet club will meet for the second time on Tuesday, Oct. 18, at Jay County Public Library.
Beginners and experts can stop by the library between 5 and 7:30 p.m. with  their crochet supplies.

Bluebird conference
The Indiana Bluebird Society will hold its 15th annual conference on Saturday, Oct. 22, at Cool Creek Nature Center, 200 E. 151st St., in Carmel.
The free conference will be held from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. and anyone interested in the preservation of bluebirds is welcome to attend. Membership isn’t required.

Quilt show
The 10th annual Callithumpian Quilt Show will be held Saturday, Oct. 29, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 30, from noon until 4 p.m. at Riverside Center, 231 E. Monroe St. (U.S. 224) in Decatur.
