The Jay County Public Library will have Baby and Toddler Activity Time on Thursday, Dec. 1 at 9:30 a.m.
Kids may count down the days to Christmas by joining the 25 Days of Christmas Reading Program. Pick up details at the Jay County Public Library.
Don’t forget to register by Thursday, Dec. 1, for the December After School Special to be held at Jay County Public Library. The special will be from 2:45 to 4 p.m. and is for kindergarten through fifth grade students. To register, call the library at (260) 726-7890.
Minnetrista events
The Minnetrista Cultural Center in Muncie has the national traveling exhibit Hunters of the Sky on display through April of 2006.
The display features raptors (birds of prey). The bald eagle, the California condor, the peregrine falcon and the northern spotted owl are featured.
The center is open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Admission is $4 for children/students, $6 for seniors and $7 for adults. For more information, call (765) 282-4848 or visit www.minnetrista.net.
Brass at Ball State
Empire Brass, a brass quintet, will perform Sunday, Dec. 6, at 8 p.m. in Sursa Performance Hall at Ball State University. The quintet has toured the Far East 13 times and performs regularly in Europe.
