Jimmy married the former Brenda Brown on June 30, 1984, at First Assembly of God.
Brenda works for Jay-Randolph Developmental Services in Portland and Jimmy works for the city of Portland.
The couple are the parents of Mrs. Jeremy Brown, Portland; Lonnie Fravel and Jeromy Fravel, both of Berne; Patti Causey, Myrtle Beach, S.C.; Jim Chapman Jr., North Dakota; and Deb Chapman, Minnesota. They also have 16 grandchildren.
