Johnsons celebrate 50th
David and Mary Johnson, 70 Sesame St., are celebrating their 50th anniversary today.
David married Mary Butcher on June 15, 1962, at Evangelical Methodist Church in Portland.
Mary retired from United Telephone Company and David retired from Navistar.
The couple are the parents of three children, Cindy Bessesen (husband: Tim), Portland, Jackie Spice (husband: David), Berne, and Shawn Johnson, Portland. They also have one grandson.
They are planning to celebrate with a family gathering.
