Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Kesler, Dunkirk, are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary on Friday.
Gordon and Lucy were married on Feb. 24, 1946, and have lived all their married life in Knox Township in Jay County.
They farmed and raised, milked and showed registered Guernsey cattle for 35 years. They later raised beef for a few years before retirement.
Gordon serves as Knox Township trustee. Both he and Lucy hold commercial pilots licenses and flew their own plane before selling it a few years ago.
They are the parents of David Kesler, Portland, Ore.; Dr. Darrel Kesler, Champaign, Ill., and Mrs. Dr. David (Susan) Simpson, Danville, Pa. They also have six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
