Knapkes celebrate 60th (07/08/2008)
Urban A. and Mildred E. (Klenke) Knapke, Maria Stein, Ohio, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Sunday with a Mass of Thanksgiving at 10:30 a.m. at St. Johns the Baptist Church in Maria Stein. An open house will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. at Precious Blood Church, Chickasaw, Ohio.
The couple are the parents of Mrs. Jim (Linda) Schwieterman, Ken Knapke, Mrs. Gene (Sharon) Evers, Gary Knapke and Dale Knapke, all of Maria Stein; David Knapke, Fort Recovery, and Mrs. Joseph (Norma Jean) Puthoff, Chickasaw, Ohio. They have 24 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
