Knarr published in magazine

Taking Note

A local storyteller and theatre teacher at Jay County High School has been published in “Indiana’s Got Talent.”
Carol Knarr stated “I was selected to represent storytellers in Indiana which is quite an honor. I have only been telling in Indiana three years, although I began telling professionally about ten years ago.”
“Indiana’s Got Talent” is a collection of interviews of Hoosier authors, writers, actors and filmmakers.
Knarr does storytelling at schools, libraries and retirement homes. She also writes the column Story Corner for “The Post and Mail” in Columbia City.
Prior to teaching at J.C.H.S., she studied and taught at South Mountain Community College Storytelling Institute in Phoenix, Ariz. She received a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Anderson University, a master’s degree from Indiana University and a master of fine arts degree from Arizona State University.
