Kroozers hosting car show

Taking Note

The Arch Bridge Kroozers will hold the annual Spring Kroozen at the Courthouse and Night Before Cruise-in this weekend in Portland.
The Spring Kroozen at the Courthouse will be held on West Main Street on Saturday from 6 to 9 p.m. Registration will be from 4 to 6 p.m. and dash plaques will be given to the first 250 entries. DJ the DJ will play ’50s and ’60s music and the Arch Bridge Cafe will be open at the old fire station. Door prizes will be given and awards will be held at 8:30 p.m.    
The Night Before Cruise-in will be held Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Norm’s Place and in the parking lot of Marsh shopping center. Norm’s Place will be serving old-fashioned burgers in a basket.

Manager wanted
Arts Place in Portland is looking for a volunteer market manager to oversee and coordinate the 2011 Arts Place Farmers’ Market. The Farmers’ Market is held each Saturday from June through October.
