Landess couple celebrating
Former Jay County residents John and Barbara Landess celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Dec. 10, 2011, at Redkey United Methodist Church where they were married on Dec. 31, 1961.
The couple has lived in LaVista, Neb., for the past 34 years.
They are the parents of three daughters, Kim Shaw, Ankeny, Iowa, Cheryl Sinnett and Carrie Landess, both of LaVista. They also have four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.[[In-content Ad]]
