Learning workshops scheduled

Taking note

Teachers, youth group leaders, home school parents and others wanting to educate children about the environment can attend a Project Learning Tree workshop April 23 and 25 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Limberlost State Historic Site.
The two-session workshop, which costs $20 per person, will take place in the classroom located in the new visitor center.
PLT is an award-winning environmental education program for kids in preschool through 12th grade. Participants in the workshop will learn how to use engaging activities while educating students. Each participant will receive copies of PLT curriculum guides and other materials. Participants must attend both sessions to receive the curriculum guide. Professional Growth Points are available for licensed Indiana teachers.
Class size is limited to 16 adults.

Glass making
Minnetrista will be offering  glass making workshops April 11 and 18.
Minnetrista’s “Glass Workshop: Basic Copper Enameling” offers participants the chance to learn basic copper enamel design.
