Library hosting exercise program (02/06/06)

An afterschool exercise program for children will be Wednesday, Feb. 8, from 2:45 to 4 p.m. The program will consist of 30 minutes of exercise, a drink and a snack and an activity or story. Children of all ages are welcome and preschoolers must be accompanied by an adult. For more information, call the library at (260) 726-7890.
A toddler activity time will be Thursday, Feb. 9, at 9:30 a.m. at Jay County Public Library for infants and toddlers. There will be stories, toys, music and instruments to share. Older siblings may attend and all must be with an adult.
Lecture series
A lecture, by Portland native Elizabeth Nesbitt, will be given on Saturday, Feb. 11, at 7 p.m. at The Jay County Historical Museum. The first in a three part series, the lectures will focus on the local Native American and Great Lakes tribal history and culture.[[In-content Ad]]
