Library visitors choose photo contest winners (11/25/05)

Jay County Public Library announces the winners of its “Get Caught Reading” photo contest, which were voted on by library visitors.
First place in the children’s division went to six year old Zavier Garringer, son of Andrea and Eric Garringer, Redkey. The picture was of Garringer sitting with two cats behind him reading “Have You Seen My Cat?”
Winning first place in the adult division was Jerry Hummel, Portland. His picture featured him reading “What to Ask the Vet” to his glasses-wearing cat.
JCPL staff thanks everyone who participated in the contest. Entries may be picked up at the library.
Dean’s list
Andrew Carl Paxson of Bryant has made the dean’s list at the University of Northwestern Ohio.
Scholastic tournament
Fort Recovery High School is one of 10 Midwest Athletic Conference Schools that will participate in the JV Scholastic Tournament at Minster High School on Dec. 5 at 4 p.m.
The coach is Marge Dilworth.[[In-content Ad]]
