Limberlost engine show Sunday

The 28th Annual Limberlost Antique Gas Engine Show will be held Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Geneva.
The display will begin at the fire station and no registration is required to enter. A tractor drive from Geneva to Ceylon will begin at 2 p.m.

Library events
— Pumpkin carving and painting will  take place at Jay County Public Library on Tuesday, Oct. 4, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Adults, teens and children with a parent can bring a pumpkin and the library will provide paint and cutting tools.
— Kent Prouty from Harrold’s Pet Cemetery will have a program on Thursday, Oct. 6, at 6:30 p.m. Prouty will discuss options available when a pet dies and pet coffins and urns will be on display.
— A Scary Story Contest will be held Oct. 24 at 6 p.m. Write a scary story and submit it to the library by Oct. 20. Stories will be read and prizes will be given. Register by Oct. 8 by calling the library at (260) 726-7890.
—  Portland Paranormal Research Society will discuss investigations and display equipment on Tuesday, Oct. 11, at 6 p.m.[[In-content Ad]]
