Local experts needed at Jay library

Taking Note

If anyone is an amateur expert at something, their skills are wanted at Jay County Public Library.
The library would like to plan programs based on the skills, hobbies and  passions of local residents.
Anyone interested can pick up a form at the library at 315 N. Ship St. in Portland.
Several other programs will be held in November at the library.
Dwarfism Awareness will be Tuesday, Nov. 1, at 6:30 p.m. in the community room. Learn the different types of dwarfism and the challenges they face in daily life.
A Poetry Group will meet Thursday, Nov. 3, at 7 p.m. in the Friends Room. Bring your own poetry or the work of another poet to read aloud.
Herding Dogs will be Monday, Nov. 7, at 7 p.m. in the Friends Room with expert trainer Jim Bob McEwen.  For more information, call (260) 726-7890.
