Mr. and Mrs. Robert McAbee, Redkey, are celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary today.
Robert married Rosemary Craw on July 13, 1940, in Ghent, Ky.
Rosemary is a homemaker and member of Redkey Faith Ladies and Redkey Halfway Chapter No. 230 Order of Eastern Star.
Robert owned and operated Bob’s Service Station for 35 years before retiring and also retired from the Redkey Volunteer Fire Department after 40 years. He is a member of Halfway Lodge No. 298 F&AM, Scottish Rite Valley of Fort Wayne and Order of Eastern Star.
The couple are members of Redkey Faith Ministries.
They are the parents of Peggy McAbee, Waukesha, Wis., and Mrs. Steve (Carlotta) Flynn, Redkey. They also have three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The family will take a trip to Wisconsin to celebrate the occasion.[[In-content Ad]]
