McCords celebrate 50th (09/27/2008)
Mr. and Mrs. Darrell McCord, rural Winchester, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Oct. 4 with a reception from 5 to 8 p.m. at Randolph Inn and Suites Hotel in Winchester.
Darrell married Marilu Pogue on Oct. 4, 1958, at Full Gospel Temple in Muncie.
They both retired from Anchor Glass Container Corp.
Mr. and Mrs. McCord are the parents of Mrs. Dave (Robin) Short, Richmond; Kevin McCord and Lisa Hill, both of Winchester; Mrs. Kirk (Kim) Morris, Farmland; and Teresa McCord and Mrs. Dave (Dawn) Milligan, both of Portland. They have 12 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several stepgrandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren.
