McIntires celebrate 50th

Mr. and Mrs. Phillip McIntire, Portland, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary today.

Phillip married Judy Williams on March 12, 1960, at Madison Street Methodist Church in Muncie with the Rev. Gail Davis officiating.

Judy retired from Jay School Corporation as food service secretary and Phillip retired as an electrician with Local Union No. 855.

The couple are the parents of three children, Melanie Upp (husband: Scott) and Gary McIntire (wife: Lisa A.), both of Dunkirk, and Kevin McIntire (wife: Lisa M.), Roanoke. They also have eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
