Dan Aherns of Hearing Aid Outlet, Portland, attended the annual educational conference of the Indiana Hearing Aid Specialists of Indiana May 18th through the 21st.
Aherns earned continuing education credits at the conference, helping fulfill the state requirement that all hearing aid dispensers receive at least 20 hours of continuing education credit every two years.

Shawn Fear, salesman for Harvest Depot, LLC, Berne, has been named a Top Gun Salesperson by Polaris Industries.
The national competition recognizes the top 30 ATV salespeople in each of five regions. Fear was selected from salespeople from 250 different dealerships.
Harvest Depot is a Polaris ATV and Ranger dealer with a complete line of ATV’s, Rangers and accessories.
IDWC selects firm
The Indiana Department of Workforce Development has selected @Work Solutions, Inc., owned by former Jay County resident Dixie Gray to develop a statewide case management system for Indiana’s workforce delivery system.
The Indianapolis-based technology services company is charged with creating a database which allows for easy access of various services being provided to a customer across different workforce agencies.
The new system is estimated to save the state $2.1 million over the next four years because the current system costs $1.2 million annually to maintain. The contract awarded to @Work Systems, Inc. is for $2.7 million over the next four years.[[In-content Ad]]
