Meet at marsh for 'glowing eyes' walk
Taking Note
Bring a flashlight and get ready to see what lurks in the night at a special event at Loblolly Marsh on Friday, April 15.
Participants meet in the parking lot of the marsh at 8:30 p.m. for campfire stories and activities and then begin “Glowing Eyes,” an adventure in spotlighting night creatures and identifying creepy animal calls while walking the woodland trails. Also a Hardy Lake naturalist will show owls and amphibians up close. The evening will end with a cup of hot chocolate.
The marsh is located on 250 West, just west of Bryant. The event will end at approximately 10:30 p.m.

The Fort Recovery park board will have its 11th annual “Parks Word Day” on Saturday, April 30, from 9 a.m. until noon.
Workers can meet at the Community Park/Ambassador Pool parking area.
