Meiers celebrate 60th (04/20/06)
Mr. and Mrs. Harry (Tony) Meier are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary today.
Harry and Jeanne Holcroft were wed on April 20, 1946, at the First Methodist Church (now Mt. Tabor U.M.C.) in Dunkirk by the Rev. Donald Barnes.
Jeanne retired from the First State Bank of Dunkirk.
Harry, a World War II veteran of the 4th infantry division, retired from the U.S. Postal Service.
The couple has three children, Judy Geesaman, Redkey; Jane Ann Kesler, Dunkirk; and John Meier, Charleston, W.Va.
They also have three grandsons and four great-grandchildren.
