Taking Note
An exhibit, featuring the works of Indiana artists David Dale and Jim Faulkner, will be featured at Minnetrista Cultural Center in Muncie from March 24 through June 24.
River Odyssey: Two Artists Follow the Wabash, will include paintings, artists' sketches and artifacts from the artist's 500-mile journey along the winding course of the Wabash River.
Today is a member preview night only. The exhibit will then be open during regular museum hours through June 24.
A homeschool workshop "Wetland Wisdom" will be Friday, March 30, from 1 to 3 p.m.
Learn what it takes to create a wetland as you explore Minnetrista's Nature Are wetland. Prepare to get wet. Registration is necessary.

A G.A. Ball historical house tour is available daily at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.

Flip It, Fold It, Figure It Out! Playing With Math will be featured through April 29. Participants can create quilt and tile patterns, fold an origami model, experiment with drum beat patterns and more.

The Magic School Bus Kicks Up A Storm will be featured through May 13.

To speak
Jack Ronald will be the guest speaker on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Jay County Historical Museum. He will be speaking on "All the News that Fits in Jay County," a discussion on the history of Jay County newspapers through the years.
The museum is located at 903 E. Main St., Portland.
Clean-up day
The Fort Recovery Park Board will have its 7th annual Park Work Day on Saturday, April 28, from 9 a.m. to noon.
Volunteers are to meet at the Community Park/Ambassador Pool parking area. Help will be needed with mulching, dirt work, small paint jobs and clean-up.
Food will be served at noon. For more information, call (419) 375-1056. The rain date is scheduled for May 5.
Children's museum
The Muncie Symphony Orchestra's Music On The Move program will be at the Muncie Children's Museum on Saturday, March 31.
The string quartet will play at 11 a.m., followed by an instrument petting zoo. A book and free Symphony tickets will be given to each participant.
The museum is located at 515 S. High St. in Muncie.
