Felony arrests
Accused of theft
A Portland man was arrested this morning for allegedly shoplifting at a local grocery store.
Sean R. Wible, 19, 402 E. Walnut St., was arrested by Portland police for theft, a class D felony.
Sunday at 11:13 p.m., he allegedly stole a bottle of wine from Marsh Hometown Market, 218 W. Lincoln St., Portland. Value of the wine was $2.78.
After the alleged theft, Wible allegedly ran from police. Portland police found him at his home today at 1:37 a.m. and arrested him.
Wible was being held in the Jay County Jail this morning on a $3,000 bond.
Accused of entry
A Redkey man was arrested Saturday by Dunkirk police on a felony charge.
Anthony A. Neely, 24, 51 Walnut St., was arrested for residential entry, a class D felony.
He was released from the Jay County Jail Saturday on a $6,000 bond.[[In-content Ad]]
