Cheer clinic registration is July 2, 3
The Jay County High School cheerleading program will host a clinic in July.
The clinic for kindergarten through eighth graders will run from 1 to 3:30 p.m. July 9 through 12 in the JCHS auxiliary gym.
Registration for the clinic will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 2 and 3 at the Jay Schools central office. The registration fee is $10.

Challenger Sports hosting camp
The Jay County Soccer Club and Challenger Sports are teaming to host a “British Soccer Camp” July 9 through 13.
The camp for players ages 6 through 18 will run daily at Jay County High School. The registration fee is $81 for players ages 6 through 9 for an hour-and-a-half session, and $109 for players 10 through 18 for a three-hour session.

IU East hosting 5K
Indiana University East will host the Run with the Wolves 5K on July 21.
The event at the IU East cross country course in Richmond will begin at 8 a.m. The entry fee is $15 for those who register before July 13 and will be $20 the day of the race.

Registration open for softball
Registration is open for Jay Community Center’s co-ed softball league.
The league is for players who are freshmen in high school or older and games will be played on Sundays beginning Aug. 19. The registration fee is $325 per team.
