Services for H. Dale Hebenthal, 54, Saratoga, will be held Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home in Winchester with Pastor Carl Greene officiating. He died Friday at his home.
Born in Rensselaer to Harry S. and Zuda L. Hebenthal, he was a graduate of Shenandoah High School.
He is survived by his wife Stacey (Garringer) Hebenthal.
A veteran of the United States Navy, he had worked at Stoneridge in Portland and was a truck driver.
Memberships include Saratoga United Methodist Church and Winchester American Legion.
Surviving besides his wife are two daughters, Contessa Phillips, Muncie, and Sandra Bonn, Seattle, Wash.; a son, Kyle Hebenthal, Muncie; a sister, Terri Moore (husband: Terry), O'Fallon, Mo.; three stepbrothers, Ray Brumfiel, Dugger, Barney Brumfiel, Vincennes, and Andy Brumfiel, New Castle; in-laws; an aunt and uncle and five grandchildren.
Visitation is Tuesday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date in Saratoga Cemetery.

Services for Virginia Joan McConaha, 80, Portland, are Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Portland Chapel of Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home with the Rev. Craig Davis officiating. She died Friday at Miller's Merry Manor in Dunkirk.
Born in Portland to Johnny Leroy and Vera Eardine (Bell) Fenton, she graduated from Portland High School in 1948.
She was preceded in death in 1982 by her husband James E. McConaha, whom she married in 1957.
She had worked at Hanlin Drugs in Portland for 20 years.
Survivors include a son, Kevin McConaha, Portland; and two nieces.
Visitation is Tuesday from 3 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery in Fort Recovery.

Born in Randolph County to Gerald and Cleta (Bishop) Fields, she was preceded in death on Feb. 4, 2004, by her husband Eldon Pursley, whom she married on July 30, 1960.
A member of Bluff Point Friends Church, she had worked at EP Graphic in Berne and Naas Foods in Portland and Geneva.
Survivors include a son, Mark Pursley, Portland; a daughter, Lisa Shawver (husband: Richard), Portland; a stepson, John Pursley (wife: Patty), Ridgeville; a brother, Vernon Fields (wife: Cheryl), Becknell; and sister-in-law and several nieces and nephews.
Services are Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Portland Chapel of Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Horsman officiating. Burial will be in Weimer Cemetery, north of Saratoga.

Born in Decatur to Frank and Ella (Myers) Knittle, she was preceded in death on July 23, 2004, by her husband Lester "Hap" Bricker, whom she married on July 30, 1942.
She and her husband were owners and operators of Circle B Ranch, Happy's Poultry and Haps Sale Barn.
Survivors include a son, Fred Bricker, Portland; a daughter, Marjorie Frazier, Kissimmee, Fla.; two sisters, Ruth Nicodemus, Decatur, and Betty Fisher, Fort Wayne; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Services are Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Harris officiating. Burial will be in Salamonia Cemetery.

Richard "Dick" A. Martin, 80, 109 Wiggs St., Fort Recovery, died Saturday at Mercer County Community Hospital in Coldwater, Ohio.
Born in Dayton, Ohio, to John and Margaret (Delp) Martin, he is survived by his wife Margaret "Marge" (Reichert) Martin, whom he married on Nov. 23, 1968, in Fort Recovery.
A member of the Army Air Corp, he retired from J & M Manufacturing in Fort Recovery and was a member of V.F.W. Post No. 6515 in Fort Recovery.
Surviving besides his wife are five daughters, Sherolyn (husband: Steve) Jones, Mendon, Ohio, Darlene Martin, Greenville, Ohio, Cindy (husband: Harold) Aslinger, Centerville, Angela Martin, Louisville, Ky., and Diana (husband: Curt) Rammel, Fort Recovery; a son, Dane (wife: Deb) Martin, Fort Recovery; a brother, Lon "Jeep" (wife: Wanda) Martin, West Carrolton, Ohio; a sister, LaRue Peacock, Denver, Colo.; 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Services are Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church in Sharpsburg, Ohio, with the Rev. Charles Mullen officiating. Burial will be in St. Marys Cemetery in Fort Recovery with military graveside rites conducted by the American Legion in Fort Recovery.

She graduated from Blackford High School in 1988 and had worked at Key Plastics in Hartford City.
Surviving besides her parents are a stepfather, Carl W. Clem, Hartford City; a son, Toby McCallister, Redkey; a brother; a grandmother and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services are Friday at 11 a.m. at Keplinger Funeral Home in Hartford City with the Rev. Bobby Thomas officiating. Cremation will take place.
