Sentenced for theft
A Portland man recently was sentenced in Wells Circuit Court.
Andrew R. Busz, 26, was sentenced on a charge of theft to 18 months in the Indiana Department of Correction, with all but 98 days suspended. He was placed on probation for 18 months. On May 1, 2010, he used another person’s credit card to make $907.97 in purchases at Walmart, Bluffton.
Fraud sentence
A Fort Recovery woman recently was sentenced to jail time in Adams Superior Court.
Lori Call, 43, pleaded guilty to check fraud. She was sentenced to two years in the Adams County Jail, with all but 90 days suspended. She was granted work release. Call also was placed on probation for two years and was ordered to pay probation fees, $164 in court costs and $37.50 in restitution.[[In-content Ad]]
