Donald and Dorothy Muhlenkamp, Fort Recovery, will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary on Saturday, May 3, with a Mass of celebration at 5 p.m. at Mary Help of Christians Church in Fort Recovery.
An open house will follow from 6 to 9 p.m. in the church undercroft.
Donald married Dorothy Westgerdes on May 7, 1949, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the late Rev. George U. Aman, C.P.P., officiating.
Donald was a lifelong dairy farmer.
They are the parents of 11 children, Linda Guggenbiller (husband: Carl), Montezuma, Ohio, Shirley Grevenkamp (husband: Steve), St. Henry, Ohio, Joyce Lamm (husband: Mike), Celina, Ohio, Patricia Besecker (husband: Daniel), Greenville, Ohio, Susan Huelsman (husband: Doug), Chickasaw, Ohio, Janice Adams (husband: Steve), Coldwater, Ohio, Edward Muhlenkamp (wife: Tracy), Greenville, Ohio, Thomas Muhlenkamp (wife: Doris), Ralph Muhlenkamp (wife: Kathy), Luke Muhlenkamp (wife: Tammy), and Laura O’Dell (husband: Jeff), all of Fort Recovery.
