The Oak Hill Golden Eagles won 20 out of 24 events Tuesday to hand the Jay County High School a pair of losses. The Patriot boys suffered a 193-112 loss while the girls suffered a 200-111 defeat.
Neal Fennig set the pace for the JCHS boys as he won the 100-yard freestyle by less than two tenths of a second in 53.64. He was also second in both the 200 individual medley and 50 freestyle.
Aaron Hudson turned in the only other victory of the boys team with a time of 1:00.64 in the 100 butterfly. He added a second-place finish in the 200 freestyle.
Eme Miller finished first in the girls 500 freestyle in 5:59.99 and was the runner-up in the 100 backstroke. Mary Hudson took the top spot in the 100 breaststroke in 1:11.51 after posting a second-place effort in the 100 freestyle.
Other runner-up finishes for JCHS came from Jared Valentine (500 freestyle, 100 breaststroke), Trent Whitenack (diving), Michelle Landfair (200 freestyle) and Megan Taylor (diving).

GASTON - West Jay Middle School's eighth grade boys basketball team rolled to a 39-26 victory Tuesday over Wes-Del. The seventh graders improved to 6-1 with a 24-9 win.
Kyle Selvey powered the WJMS eighth graders with 10 points. Dan Walter followed with six points.
James Williams had 10 points and five rebounds in leading the Eagle seventh grade squad. Case Retter scored six points.[[In-content Ad]]
