October Eagles named

East Elementary recently chose its Eagles of the Month for October.
They were Audrey Hummer, Cody Rowles, Mason Ludy, Sebastian Solis, Elayna Paro, Allison Byrum,  Isaac Braun, Jackson Lyons, Gavin O’Brien, Hannah Phillips, Olivia Kunkler, Matalin Racster, Mitchell Rockwell and Alexis Slocum.

New officers
The Tri-State Gas Engine and Tractor Association held its annual membership meeting and elected officers and directors.
Officers are Jack Rouch, president;  Ashley Theurer, secretary; and Randy Roll, East end sales.
Directors are Shirley Karn, treasurer; Bill Stults, camping; Lee All, sawmill; Rich  Theurer, East end sales; Gene Greenman, electrician; and Bob Dunham, thrashing area.

Top students
West Jay Middle School named its  Students of the Month for October.
They were Cole France, a  sixth grade student; Alli Campbell, a seventh grader; and eighth grader Courtney Rickmeyer.

At Minnetrista
Camp Minnetrista: Gift Making will be held Friday, Nov. 25, from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. at Minnetrista in Muncie.
Kids can make holiday gifts while parents are shopping on Black Friday.
