Open house set at museum (4/14/05)
Taking Note
An open house will be held on Sunday, April 17, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Jay County Historical Museum, 903 E. Main St., in Portland. Redkey memorabilia from the collection of Jeff Miller will be on display.
Admission is free, but donations are welcome.

LifeStream is compiling a list of people who are 100 years old or more from Jay, Delaware, Madison, Grant, Blackford, Randolph and Henry counties as part of Older Americans Month in May.
If you know of someone, please send their name, address, phone number, birth date and up to 50 words about the individual’s life to “100 YEARS YOUNG,” c/o of LifeStream, P.O. Box 308, Yorktown, IN 47396 or e-mail to [email protected]. The information must be received by May 10.

DIRT, DOZERS TO PERFORM
Phil Dirt and the Dozers will perform at Bundy Auditorium in New Castle on Friday, April 15, at 7 p.m. The doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and tickets are $5 at the door.

The Hoosier Heartland Chapter of the American Red Cross is having a International Humanitarian Law course on Friday, April 15, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 325 E. Washington St., Muncie. The course is free and open to the public.
