Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Pearson will celebrate 50 years of marriage on June 20.
An open house for family and friends will be held Sunday, June 22, from 1 to 5 p.m. at the K of C Hall in Fort Recovery.
Marvin married Peggy Liggett on June 20, 1953, at the parsonage of the Rev. Earl Lantz in Union City. Their attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bolen, cousins of the bride.
They are the parents of David Pearson, Columbus, Ohio; Mrs. Bruce (Toni) Persinger, St. Marys, Ohio; Mrs. Robin (Marla) Tuma, Casper, Wyo.; and Mrs. Randy (Rhonda) Gaier, New Bremen, Ohio. They are the grandparents of 10 and the great-grandparents of seven.
Marvin is a retired farmer and driver for St. Anthony Feed Mill/Fort Recovery Equity. Peggy is retired from the former Vonderhaar’s Market in Fort Recovery.
