Larry married Nancy Horn on Feb. 14, 1957, at Oak Grove United Methodist Church.
Larry retired from Walinga, Inc. and currently is a sales representative and part owner of BCF Woodworking, Portland. He is also engaged in farming.
They are the parents of Dane Peterson and Diane Peterson, both of Portland, and have two grandsons.
The couple is planning a family celebration in Florida.
