Pow-Wow to be held (7/11/03)
Taking Note
The annual White Buffalo Society Pow Wow will be held Saturday, July 19 and Sunday, July 20, at the Gaston Lions Club Fairgrounds, Gaston.
There will be a display of the 50th anniversary of the Korean War and over 25 traders will be on site.
Dances will take place Saturday from 1-4 p.m. and 7 p.m. On Sunday they will take place from 1-4 p.m.

Activities and registration deadlines for July and August activities at the Minnetrista Cultural Center, Muncie, are as follows:
• Heritage Collection Tour — A behind the scenes look at the Minnetrista collection. Sunday, July 27, 2 p.m.
• When Homeland Defense was Civil Defense Exhibit — An exhibit of civil defense strategies and equipment during World War II and the Cold War. Exhibit runs through Sept. 14.
• Minne-Trip Talk No. 1 — The Geology of Delaware County — Professor Emeritus Hal Roepke will talk about the ancient seas and glaciers that comprise the soil in the area. Geared to ages 12 and above. Thursday, July 31, 7-8:30 p.m. Registration deadline is Thursday, July 24.[[In-content Ad]]
