Program to be held at JCPL
Taking Note
A program for teens will be held at Jay County Public in anticipation of the realease of the movie “Hunger Games.”
The program will be Wednesday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 3:30 p.m. There will be trivia games and other activities and prizes.
Also a “Hunger Games” crossword puzzle will be availabe March 12. The puzzle needs to be turned in by March 22 and the winner will receive the book “Battle Royale.”
Bring puzzles to the library by March 22 and receive puzzle coupons. Use the coupons to choose new to you puzzles the week of March 26 through 31.

The book group at Jay County Public Library will discuss “For Whom the Bell Tolls” by Ernest Hemingway on Monday, March 19, at 7 p.m.
Heating assistance
Community and Family Services, Inc. still has energy assistance available.

Dean’s list
Clayton Eley was named to the winter dean’s list at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute.
He is a senior majoring in mechanical engineering. His parents are Todd Eley and Paula Miller, both of Portland.
