Program will offer gift-giving ideas (11/09/05)

The Jay County Extension Homemakers will present their annual program Gifts from the Home on Monday, Nov. 14. The program will be held at 1 p.m. and again at 6:30 p.m. in the Jay County 4-H Building meeting room at the Fairgrounds.
Many cute and clever ideas for gift giving for the holidays will be demonstrated. Also ways to decorate and some delicious recipes for your holiday menu will be shared.
The cost of the program is $3. To register, call the Extension Office at (260) 726-4707 today.
Senior citizen day
Senior citizens in the Fort Recovery school district are invited to Senior Citizen Day at Fort Recovery High School on Friday, Nov. 11. Hors d’ oeuvres will be served at 11:45 a.m., a program will be at noon, followed by a meal at 12:30 p.m.
