Former Jay County residents James Leroy "Jim" and Billie Ann Pyle, Indianapolis, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary today.
They were married on July 5, 1958, at the North Park Church of Christ in Abilene, Texas.
Jim, a 1955 graduate of Portland High School, is the son of Reita Pyle, Portland, and the late Marlin Pyle.
Billie Ann is a 1954 graduate of South Taylor High School in Tuscola, Texas, and is the daughter of the late Bill and Elsie Taylor of Abilene.
Billie Ann was employed at BrylaneHome for 12 years and Jim is retired from the United States Air Force after 20 years and also retired from ABB Robotics in 1999. He works part time at LaserScribe Inc., Indianapolis.
Mr. and Mrs. Pyle are the parents of three children, Julie, Jeffrey and Marlin David. They have two grandchildren.[[In-content Ad]]
