The Jay County varsity and junior varsity and the East Jay and West Jay cheerleading squads will be in competition today at the Indiana State Fair in Indianapolis. The competition begins at 4 p.m. with the middle school/junior high division. Approximate starting times for the Jay County squads are: East Jay - 4:30 p.m.; West Jay - 4:50 p.m.; Jay County junior varsity - 5:50 p.m.; and Jay County varsity, 9 p.m. The squads held a special preview performance of their state fair shows in the JCHS auditorium Friday prior to the Jay County football team’s scrimmage against the Fort Recovery Indians.
