Red Cross holding blood drives

The American Red Cross has scheduled three blood drives this summer in Jay County.
“Bleed to Help Save Lives,” sponsored by Jay County High School Band Boosters, will be held Friday, June 21, from 1 to 7 p.m. in the JCHS commons.
Bryant Wesleyan Church, 209 S. Hendricks St., will have a drive on Monday, June 24, from 2 to 7 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.
A Fallen Officer drive will be Tuesday, June 25, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the old gym at Jay Community Center.

Graduates
Frank W. Thien, a graduate of Fort Recovery High School, received a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management from the College of Business Administration at Ohio Northern University.
He is the son of Kenneth and Judy Thien.

• Jay County High School graduates Michelle Bruggeman, the daughter of Roland and Marie Bruggeman, and Kaley Muhlenkamp, the daughter of Leon and Linda Muhlenkamp, were named to the president’s list for the fourth semester at International Business College in Fort Wayne.

Free concerts
The John Beatrice Band will play a free concert on Saturday at 7 p.m. at Webster Depot Park in Dunkirk.
