ST. HENRY, Ohio — The Midwest Athletic Conference opener resulted in a loss for the Fort Recovery High School volleyball team Thursday as it fell 25-20, 25-17, 25-17 to the St. Henry Redskins.
Holly Brunswick had 10 kills and nine digs for the Indians (1-2) in the loss. Shelby Brunswick totaled 11 assists, Abby Backs came up with 11 digs and Kylie Kahlig scored five service points.
Fort Recovery lost the junior varsity match, 25-15, 25-15.
MS football falls
MARIA STEIN, Ohio — The Fort Recovery seventh grade football team lost 24-6 Thursday to the host Marion Local Flyers, and the eighth graders suffered a 6-0 defeat.
Kyle Schroer scored the only touchdown for the Indians on a 60-yard run for the seventh graders in the fourth quarter.[[In-content Ad]]
