Respite care offered in Berne (7/21/05)

Taking Note

By By Virginia Cline-

If you are the parent or primary care giver of a child with a disability and need a break, Agape Respite Care, Inc. in Berne can provide temporary relief. They have been awarded a Community Based Child Abuse and Prevention Grant by the Indiana Family Social Service Administration and are using the funds to provide brief intermittent times of care provided by trained care givers (respite care.) The Agape House is located at 298 Emmental Drive in Berne.

As parents or care givers you may feel uncomfortable leaving your child with an ordinary babysitter that may not know how to deal with their physical or mental disability. Agape Respite Care has had 12 years of experience in providing care for children and adults with disabilities.

For more information, contact Agape Respite Care, Inc., at (260) 589-3351, e-mail [email protected] or send requests to Agape Respite Care, Inc., Box 84, Berne, IN 46711.
