Rigby scores 11 in Southeast loss (12/30/06)
Local roundup
A second straight double-digit scoring effort from its Jay County graduate wasn't enough for the IU Southeast men's basketball team to keep its streak alive.
Tyler Rigby, a 2006 graduate of JCHS, was one of five Grenadiers to reach double figures Dec. 22.
Still, they saw their four-game winning streak come to an end by an 86-78 score at the hands of Purdue North Central.
Rigby reached double digits for the second straight game and the third time this season, finishing 4-of-8 from the field with one 3-pointer for 11 points. He also grabbed five rebounds and dished out three assists.
The freshman is averaging 3.4 points in 15 minutes of play per game this year. He also has 10 rebounds, 12 assists, four blocks and four steals.
