Rines couple to celebrate 50th (1/16/04)
Mr. and Mrs. Dick Rines, 226 W. McNeil St., Portland, will celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on Sunday.
Dick married Jean Shauver on Jan. 18, 1954, at the home of the Rev. Lee Tyndall.
The long-time Portland residents are the parents of Luanne Davidson, Portland; Judy Comstock, Decatur; and Rick Rines, Portland. They are the grandparents of seven and have five great-grandsons.
Dick is retired from Delco Battery in Muncie and Jean retired from Community and Family Services in Portland.
They will celebrate with family and friends on Saturday, Jan. 17.[[In-content Ad]]
