Roberts couple to celebrate
Hiram “Joe” and Donna Roberts, 6913 S. Spooky Hollow Road, Union City (in the southeast corner of Jay County) are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary today. Joe married Donna Gahret on Jan. 13, 1962, at Union City Church of the Nazarene.
They will celebrate with an open house on Sunday, Jan. 29, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Salamonia Community Center.
The couple are owners of JD Roberts Enterprises and had both worked at Jay Garment in Portland for 36 years until its closing.
They are the parents of Troy Roberts (wife: Julie), Portland, Sherry Green (husband: Rob), Berne, and Tina Martin (husband: Shane), Pennville. They also have seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.[[In-content Ad]]
