Rockets fall to Grand Lake (06/13/08)

CELINA, Ohio - Both teams had eight hits. The home team just did more with theirs.
The Grand Lake Mariners took advantage of some Portland miscues to hand the Rockets a 9-5 loss Thursday night.
Matt Ousley suffered the loss as he tossed the first three innings, giving up eight runs. Cory Murray, Jay County High School graduate Mitch Waters, Curt Woeste and Josh Shato (JCHS) finished the duties on the mound.
Jay County graduates led the offense as Corey Locke had a three-run double and Heath Williams finished with a pair of hits.
