Concepcion Morero ripped a single up the middle in the 11th inning Monday to lift the Portland Rockets to an 8-7 victory over the visiting Napoleon Riverbandits.
Portland scored seven times in the third inning and carried a 7-3 lead into the ninth. The Riverbandits scored four times in the ninth and had the bases loaded with no outs before Bill Geeslin entered and shut the door, inducing a ground out and recording back-to-back strikeouts.
Geeslin struck out two more batters in the 10th, and Tyler Mills pitched the 11th for the win.
