Rockwells celebrate 65th
Levon and Martha Rockwell, Portland, are celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary today.
Levon married Martha Brumm on July 1, 1945, at Mt. Zion E.U.B. Church with the Rev. Walmer receiving the couple's vows.
The ceremony took place while Levon was on a 30-day delay after leaving the European Theatre where he had served with the United States Army during World War II.
They are the parents of five children, Vernon, Michael and Robert Rockwell, all of Portland, Cynthia Kasmer, Tempe, Ariz., and Lesa Rockwell, Portland. They have eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.[[In-content Ad]]
